Precautions
The patients with epilepsy (disorder characterized by seizures), Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (prostate enlargement), severe hypertension (high blood pressure), renal (kidney) and hepatic (liver) impairment, breathing disorders, asthmatic symptoms, and thyrotoxicosis (thyroid gland disorder), and elderly should use this medicine cautiously. How does this medicine work? Chlorpheniramine has an anti-inflammatory action on the cells. It reduces the uptake of chemical messengers that cause inflammation by the cells and thereby reduces and relieves the patient. When not to use this medicine? Hypersensitivity to chlorpheniramine maleate or any component of the formulation, narrow-angle glaucoma (high pressure in the eye), bladder neck obstruction, symptomatic prostate hypertrophy, and during acute asthmatic attacks Will this medicine make me sleepy? Yes, this medicine makes the user sleepy. Avoid driving or any other work that requires your attention if you’re using this medicine. Is this medicine safe for children? This medicine is not licensed for children under 1 year of age.
