Contraindications Patients who have the following conditions should not take this medicine: low blood sugar, G6PD deficiency, low amount of magnesium and potassium in the blood. Primary Uses Indications This medication can be used for malaria; liver infections such as: hepatic amoebiasis, giardiasis; and rheumatoid arthritis (disease of the joints). Side Effects This medicine may cause headache , GI disturbances (upset stomach), skin eruptions (rashes) , or hair loss., depigmentation, blood disorders, myelosuppression (bone marrow suppression), convulsions (body muscles contract), cardiomyopathy (heart fails to pump blood), retinal damage and corneal changes. Warnings Pregnancy No definite data regarding pregnancy is available, therefore; be cautious. Please consult your doctor before. Lactation This medication is contraindicated in lactating females. Driving Please avoid driving when taking this medicine as it may affect your ability to drive.
