Pregnancy
This medicine should only be used during pregnancy when absolutely necessary. It is important to discuss the risks and benefits of using this medicine with your doctor.

Lactation
The effect of this medicine is undetermined in lactating females. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Precautions
It is recommended to inform your prescriber if you are allergic to Polymyxin B, or if you have any other allergies before using this medication. Tell your doctor your complete medical history especially of other skin conditions like eczema (itchy, red and dry skin), shingles (viral infection causing a painful rash; change in color and texture of skin), and chickenpox (itchy rash with small fluid-filled blisters; a small pocket of body fluid).

Side Effects

The patients taking this medication may experience corneal thinning, cataract, fungal infection and rise in intraocular (eye) pressure. If you experience any of these symptoms for a long period of time, consult your doctor immediately
