This medication is used for treating patients with fungal infections of the skin, characterized by inflammation (redness, swelling, soreness).

Side Effects

Patients using this may at times experience mild burning or irritation at the site of application.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the medication, skin lesions in the area to be treated that are associated with tuberculosis or syphilis, and with viral infections e.g. herpes or chicken pox.
